Несколько общих неплохих статей с одного из форумов:
Spain:
-looks good in last sparing games
-have meybe the strongest rooster personaly in last decade(players from NBA like:Gasol brothers, not only the biggest star Pau but also Marc do great job and have big impact in last year in Memphis Grizzlies, naturalized Center Serge Ibaka who is one of the most exited young center in NBA, and smaller guys like great unselfish playmayker Calderon from Toronto Raptors and very electrized and dynamic Rudy Fernandez from Portland) also they have great Euroleague experienced players like one of the best shooter in euroleague Navarro and smart big guy Felipe Reyes, and very talented and also still very young Barcelona Ricky Rubio so they have big firepover in every position and are for sure the biggest candidate for title here
Poland:
-have the vorst rooster for last years and probably vorst than in last Eurobasket in Poland because the biggest stars and high players like Phoenix Suns Gortat and Europe high forward Lampe dont play, also important speed shooter Logan dont play because he probably dont have interest in play for Poland in that time...lol.so...
-Poland have young and unexperienced players witch good coach ,they probably are hungry for winning and motivated but every win in here in my opinion should be a succes
After all circumistances this looks like clear high win for Spain,I expected something like 90:68 or even higher but we should remember that in last years Spaint not always play great in start of turnaments and play better and better in every next game becausse they know that they have more skills than another teams and often understimate them and also they know that they must be prepare in next stage, more pressures and tight games so for sure is good type for me but maybe not for high stake at the start in tournament because we can see some surpises for sure
about Serbia:
- they have many talented young players witch experience in euroleague but we cant understimate that Italy team witch NBA trio:Bargnani,Gallinardi and Belinelli.Italian team for sure dont have very strong boards and maybe veaker defence than Serbia but if that trio have good day they can even win this so at the start of tournament I dont touch it and watch, this should be really interest
about Israel:
-yes they are witchout Casspi but have some good shooters like Eyliahu also ,Germany have Nowitzki and ....dont looks nothing special witchout that fact in sparing games, they for sure be dangerous if in last minutes if result are close because Dirk should do the job and they should win in that fact but Im not so sure that it would be easy game for them. For sure in germany side many things are decided for Kaman from Clippers,if he more help dirk in close basket area they should be more dangerous.
И кратко по группам:
мысли от хорошого баскетбольного каппера http://www.rakasbets.com/eubets.php?psl=6
I believe Group A will be a group where the friendly matches' stats and results will mean the least. Yes, this group has one of the worst defensive teams so far in friendlies - Lithuania, which is allowing over 81pts to their basket in every single match and which played quite awful in their friendlies and everyone is Lithuania is just getting mad and I kinda like it. I laugh at those who say it is all over for them and they will not reach something this year. I say - let's wait for their first group match or at least two of them and I will laugh once again everyone talking totally oposite. Lithuania will be taking 1st of 2nd place in this group without any doubts and even though their ATS in friendlies are only 2-6 - they will be turning this big time to their side beating opponents by more points than suggested by the bookmakers. Spain is the biggest threat for them in this group and Spain is quite an unpredictable team so far, so I will wait for 2 or 3 matches to see what they are doing cause it is a fact their defense got a lot better now with Ibaka and sometimes they can score 90, but sometimes they can stay with 70-80pts unpredictedly. We'll have to sort their motivation and their abilities in every match to be successful in picking them. Poland and Portugal is the worst teams here and I doubt they will make big surprises, while Turkey and Great Britain will be seeking for that 3rd place. Looking to what they've been demonstrating until now - none of them deserved that 3rd place and it might be true that Poland will try to sneak to the next round, but in reality it should be Lithuania, Spain and Turkey most probably cause sooner or later they will be getting better.
Group B is quite a tough one to bet and I predict a lot of surprises here. France has the best squad ever, but they lack coaching quality and their matches against Serbia, Spain or even Australia poves that. Italy might be the biggest surprise here as I see them going to the next stage as one of the first 3 best teams along with Serbia and France. Serbia should remain the same as in previous years and their style shouldn't change a lot, but I doubt they will be unbeated after the first stage. Germany came here not so very well prepared only for the reason that Dirk and Kaman joined the team too late on my opinion and their form now hasn't reached it's top, though if they somehow manages to get through to the next stage - be ready for even more surprised as the two top stars will be at their best by that time. With Bauermann as a head coach Germany remains the same - slow team with one of the best defenses in Europe and low scoring matches. Israel and Latvia should be diving that 1 victory and I believe that might be Latvia.
Group C in Alytus will be an interesting one as well and Greece should have no bigger problems with being on top having a very smart and good coach which is dedicated to defense firstly. I believe Greece might be on top even having 1 loss after the first 5 matches as for the rest of the 5 it will always be a win or die match against each other as ALL of them (including Finland) might go to the next stage. Montenegro with Pekovic inside and one of the smartest coaches might go far, but they all lack experience in this kind of matches talking about the whole as a team. Macedonia won't be loosing all their matches and be ready for that - their top form is now and they are the team that started their preparation matches the earliest out of all other teams. Bosnia might be a big disapointment, but looking to their awful 59,4 points per friendly match scored I believe they might be totally different in Eurobasket scoring a lot more and also allowing a lot more. Bosnians don't have any team spirit, their coach is too weak and they might be the last place contenders if they are not changing something in a big way. Croatians is an interesting team that might be the black horse of this Eurobasket, but at the same time might provide unexpectedly bad results and a lot depends on their mood and how they contribute in a team with each other. The friendlies show they work with each other very well at the moment, but on my opinion if they lose the first or second match unexpectedly to Finland or Macedonia - they will be broken psychologically. Finland has their best team so far, but there are only few chances they will make BIG surprises though 1-3 victories is possible for them.
Group D in Klaipeda is probably the easiest one for Russians and Slovenians as these two are level above the rest. I thought Russians will have on the weakest teams this year at the start of the summer, but it turned out to me they will have one of the best squads to play for 5th place matches AT LEAST, but they might make a lot more surprises than that. This is an opposite version of Bosnia as Russians have a great team spirit, great fighting spirit, great devotion for this team, but sometimes lacks quality. David Blatt will prove he is a top class coach once again and I don't expect them to give away easy wins to any of the teams though I believe they will find it hard psychologically to play against Ukraine in the first match who seems to be ready better than earlier in this Eurobasket. They've started practising quite early as well and they even had a practise camp here in Klaipeda in Lithuania earlier this summer, so they know the city and the court well enough. Their matches against Belgium or Georgia will be interesting to watch for sure. Slovenia is great as always in their preparation matches and maybe they will finally be good not only in the friendlies. The good thing is that they've got an easy group I would say, but they will have to prove their abilities against these opponents and I believe they will are 1st or at least 2nd in this group with no questions asked. Bulgaria. An interesting team I would say, but the last place contenders I asume. Their offense and fast play is not a top class and that is why their defense get weaker with this fast play. Georgia is maybe the same as Bulgaria, but they have Zaza which makes them a litlle bit better. Those matches against Latvia and Lithuania don't prove me a lot and I believe Georgia will not have big chances for the next stage here. Now what I believe will be the biggest surprise here is Belgium. Yes, a team which lost Hervelle just before the champ and is in a very bad mood. What made an impression for me was their top class defense and in offense they somehow seem to find a solution for any opponent (except against France in their last preparation match which they've lost 74-44). Belgium is allowing 69,9pts to their basket and they are 5-2 ATS which means they've always been underrated by the bookies. I was impressed by their victory over Bosnia and they've been very good in a tournament in Germany.
From a statistical point of view the best defensive teams: France, Greece, Spain, Turkey, Slovenia, Germany. The ones that defended under 70s as well: Belgium, Portugal, Croatia, Italy, Finland.
The worst defensive teams: Great Britain, Lithuania, Georgia, Bulgaria
The best offensive teams: Russia, Spain, France, Lithuania
The worst offensive teams: Bosnia, Turkey, Belgium, Poland, Bulgaria
More numbers:
Belgium is 1-6 in overs/unders
Bosnia is 0-5 in beating handicap (ATS) in their last 5 matches
Finland is 6-0 in ATS counting their friendlies and qualification matches
Lithuania is 6-2 in overs/unders, but 2-6 in ATS in all their friendlies
Slovenia is 2-8 in overs/unders (0-5 last 5)
Turkey and Ukraine both are 1-4 in overs/unders in their 5 frienlies
There are a lot more numbers, a lot more information, but there is no need to write it here. All we need to do now is to turn out our knowledge into money and make good decisions with every match played!
