к гк много претензий, но однако подавляющее большинство админов работают на нем, без всяких взломов...

Он мне не нравится потому что там наверняка есть уязвимость.
Разбирать где именно - реально лень, разве что Панкрат возьмет в подмастерье.
А работают они всяко, это верно.
