Chris spoke quite a bit about inappropriate Advertisement
This, below, is from a new note on our dashboard. Chris covered all of these points in detail....
It has been brought to our attention that, inappropriate advertisement shows up on the BannerBroker site pages at times. We would like to assure all concerned that, we have little control over this kind of advertisement, as our advertisements are generated through a large network of advertising partners. However, as a measure, we have taken steps to continually refine our advertisement filters. Other factors that may contribute to this kind of inappropriate advertising are result of contextual web searching. A contextual search system scans the text of a visited web site for keywords and returns ads to the web page based on what the user is viewing.
Chris Said that BB's revenue is down hence panel movement slowed, payouts behind due to less revenue generated & they will be doing a payout but no actual date for that. They are moving away from a passive business to affiliates doing more work for their 'money' & movement of panels.
No promises as to when the next payouts will be.
This is the 1st time Chris Smith has ever admitted the revenue is not there to pay us all. This was reiterated in several of the areas that Chris covered.
Chris also talked about the upcoming conference in Niagara emphasizing that it would be a "smaller crowd" but that the exent is still on and he is looking forward to meeting those of us that come up to Niagara.... The "Mercedes Contest" will close out soon.....
He spoke also of the TESLA contest, and emphasized that it would be a live - real drawing, no pre-determined or computer generated winners.
